Hello everyone,
I've just joined the forum and I am really interested in doing a fighting character as it is my favorite genre of video game. My chosen character will be HSIEN KO from Darkstalkers series who is also part of the new Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 game. Images to come.

So I spent about 1.5 hours on this, just a quick pass to get the mesh looking sensible. Certainly, there are areas that need work, plan on running this through topogun at some point.

I think you're jumping the gun and sculpting way too early.

Also because she's known for her elaborate articles of clothing doesn't mean you should like, ignore basic anatomical reference. You really need that to get a female form going, right now because it looks like gumby clavicles.

I learned that the hard way. I had to model a naked person to make a good clothed person.

You are absolutely right; this isn't usually how I normally work, but I've been getting into more exploratory sculpting with zbrush lately. I wanted to explore parts from the whole in terms of the whole design in zbrush. Here is an update on the progress.
