This looks actually really good! I've been looking into getting an IPS panel to replace my current shitty screen.
Although the thick bezel and the Asus brand kinda bug me, those won't topple the scale into not buying. Price tag's good too!
The dell 24 also has tilt, hdmi, and I bet better quality panel, and more accurate colors out of the box. The Asus would be a good buy for like $350 though.
Asus makes good stuff. I know the Dells are 16:10, but the cost of a Dell 2410 here is more than the cost of the Asus. Also, Dell Japan does not do the sales as Dell US does.
Ah ok, well that makes a bit more sense. My secondary monitor is actually an Asus pw201, which is a a good display, however I would never by an Asus when I could get an equivalent(or better) dell for the same price. =P
I am in need of a decent new monitor as well, finding one with display port is not as easy I had hoped - shall definately go into my short list for a new monitor.
Good price in the UK too

Dell's U2410 is also 16:10, and $500. I dont think I would pay so much for an Asus.
