Hey guys,
This is a personal project I've been working on. I've been modelling this mech on and off for the past month. Currently, the high poly is 90% complete and i'm going to be adding more small details, panel lines and possibly damage and dings afterwards. Eventually, I want to put this in an engine so making a low poly of it is not too far off in the future.
This started primarily as a way for me to learn how to work with complex and organice shapes.
I'm not too confident on how successful I will be at translating this into low poly and I know that I might have to change some of the pieces but then again, I'd have to actually attempt it to know if i can do it or not.
I'm going to be working on this on and off depending on my schedule so I won't be able to post constant updates to this. I will try my best to update this and any help and feedback as I go on would be very appreciated.

Would mind looking at some wirez . Oh, and a tool called Meshlab might come in handy when you're doing the low rez. Quickly convert those HP objects to LP for baking.

Whats_true: Yeah, I agree, I'll be placing some more holes, bolts and panels on the bottom half tonight. Although i'm a little hesitant on putting stuff like the engravings on the bottom since it wasn't part of the original idea but yeah definitely since the shinguard looks too plain right about now.
LRoy and HP: Yeah, alot of people have said the same thing. Definitely something that needs to be changed.

Also, Whatstrue: Yeah I do plan to model the weapons. I'm just missing the swords now.
Maybe the chainguns were a bit too much...

@laim1991: Yeah it does look a little flimsy, I'll see what I can cook up. Maybe have it wrap around the arms more.
The Head stuff, I'm kind of 50/50 on. I kind of like it half buried in its own collar. Maybe if i round out the head more it'll pop out more and get a better effect.
Ideally I want it to stop at the sword and possibly a shield so I can move on to my low poly. I might actually consider balancing out the weight with something at the back like maybe an ammo pack or a bigger thrust system. But I'll see which direciton I want to go after this.
