I took some photos from the Mississauga bus terminal at Square One a couple weeks ago and decided to model their sitting area. Though without the buses it looks more like a simple area from the park.
I was aiming for low poly models that will have normals or bump maps, enough basic lighting to compliment the "scene" and mind blowing textures.
First you will see some reference shots I took with my camera. Second you will see wire frame screen shots of the props. And third you will see over all renders of the entire "scene". One is with four benches and the other is with three benches. Which do you think looks better, 3 or 4?
Also, the leaves are simple planes. I then used a particle effect to place the leaves on the tree. Though in the reference photo there isn't any leaves, there will be in my "scene".

the leafs on the tree arent really working, the shape of the leaf is fine, it spend more time on the diff.
