UVW Stitch issue Max 2011

My stitch hotkey isnt working.

If I go to tools->stitch selected that works (as shown below). However, the hotkey for S on stitch still isnt working at all. When Im hitting S in the edit UVW menu its activating/deactivating snaps.

Edit: Problem seems to be NO hotkeys are working in the edit UVW menu. Any hotkey I hit tries to do something in the main max window. e.g. Trying to stitch in UVW window results in activating or deactivating snaps in main menu.

Not sure if this is why your hotkey isn't working, but try hitting the "Keyboard Shortcut Override Toggle" button on the main max toolbar, just left to the snaps toggle, then try your hotkey.

@SenEG. When Im hitting S in the edit UVW menu its activating/deactivating snaps. Just fixed the problematic stitch issue and edited that out of the original post.

Yeah, if the Keyboard Shortcut Override Toggle is off, it will toggle snaps, if its on, it should activate hotkeys in the UVW window. I'm not sure why else your hotkey wouldn't be working, looks like you have it set up correctly. I'm sure Vig or one of the other vets will be along shortly to give you better insight, lol.

Yah override is on for when im in UVW. I started a new scene and imported the geometry reset max and its working fine now. No clue.Max 2012 can't come soon enough
