2D artist needed for Facebook game project
We need someone to fill the role of lead artist for our Facebook game project. This person will sprites, maps, and other objects for the game. This game will feature simple but attractive 2D art in isometric style.
101 Productions is a very small independent start-up. We are not seeking capital for this project and as such are not currently able to offer paid positions. Team members are being offered stock in the company which will vest as they complete project milestones.
We are making a "freemium" game for Facebook based on the Zynga model. Although we aim to improve on that model, our foremost goal is to generate revenue from the game users. This is what Zynga does well with their games like FarmVille and FrontierVille, and this is the part of that business model that we want to adapt.
We are based in Santa Barbara, California but our team members can work from anywhere.
