Alright, the plan is to zero in on the house, well, and open area surrounding the center of the original stage. above Ive collected some ref and highlighted some of the elements I want to add to the house.

This gate/entrance is similar to the cover/detail Ill be adding over the well

Ive decided not to do the frozen version. maybe ill do a variant if i have some extra time.

dropped a few proxies and an early bamboo tree and ground textures in...IM sliding them around and playing with the composition/layout before I go further.

Off to a good start! This stage leaves a lot of room for interpretation, since the original is fairly simple and the straight-on angle isn't very exciting. Go crazy with it!
