This is a robot I modeled but never finished in time for the Warriors Challenge, Trevor Claxton did the concept. The robot is 8000 faces with 3 x 2048 maps
SICK!!! really nice man only comment i have... i don't really fancy the joints... by the elbows only... but besides that awesome... i could never do such a thing :P
It's a really nice model, but what I would do to add a little bit more character to the robot is add some more dirt/damage. It's way to clean to be in the kind of situations you are situating him in here.
For example, do to all the sparks at his feet he will get hit by those sparks at his legs, try to make some scratches there who go from front to back. Make some wear en tear on the joints to, and all moving parts for that matter. Nothing stays clean, and damage and dirt give a character so much more
thanks guys, I wanted to present this model as a high poly model that's why I have so many maps. Reason why I made a low was to pose it easier,There's no way I could keep this same amount of detail in one map, plus I don't plan on animating this robot either.

Sweet result though, great way to present the model as well. Nice work.
