Character Frustration

I've been working on this portfolio piece for a while...it's sort of been my training grounds for learning to sculpt in Zbrush. But now it's time to (hopefully) finish this as well as some other pieces for my porfolio. The problem is that I've been working on it for so long and I'm still very new to sculpting -- I've got tunnel vision.

The idea is that she's going to be a badass princess, once I get to the scars/tats/and the alpha for the dress rips.

I asked my roomate how she looked so far, he said, "she looks like Hillary Clinton sorta."

I don't doubt what he saw, as I know what I'm seeing is my own vision of her. Hoping for any help you guys may offer me, I don't get offended by honesty so feel free.

Her expression doesn't say badass princess. Give her some attitude, like a frown, pout etc... Also mess up her hair a bit, she still looks too prim and proper for what you are going for with her. When you start adding the rips/tats and scars it'll start coming together better.. gl!

Honestly she looks like a happy coke addict... Maybe a bit less bony? And yea a bit more expression also

lol at "coke addict", alrighty, so she still looks unattractive. I will experiment, I'll also try to include a few of the "bad ass" elements in the next post. Thanks for the feedback so far.

Lol sorry hey post up a front image next update, also, that drawing of the front is that the only one u have? Or do u have a painted version?

All good mang. I don't have a good painted version to post. I (dumbly?) slopped over a photoshop version a while back when I tried to crank this character out. Overall this project has been a pretty good lesson for me workflow wise.

Thinking about it, I'll probably post a re-worked concept of her next.
