I just exported an old model from Blender as obj, when i open it up i Maya it becomes really strange, you can see throught the model at wrong places. Normals look fine, so why ?
Nope don't think it's normals. It looks like a transparency thing.
To fix you could try in the viewport go to shading>polygon transparency sorting. Also try switching the renderer to high quality rendering.
