Yeah, hopefully everyone lands on their feet. Amazing cause I think Sony has only owned the Denver and Tucson studios for 2 years or so.

Could it be that Sony smells tax breaks in Montreal also and it looking to start something up soon? Or do they just not see that much of a future in MMO's that they need to keep those studios around...

Got my start here and know a lot of people working in the san diego branch. To be honest the agency had this coming for a long time (not saying everyone on the Agency lacked talent of course).

It really does suck having such a massive blow hit SOE and the industry in general, it is crazy just how many people were affected by this. But as terrible as today has been it was rather awesome to really see just how great the people of this industry can be. I personally have never felt closer to my team than I did today. Between friends sharing leads and info, people reaching out via email, and even a group of individuals from ArenaNet coming by to see how they could help, it really made me appreciate the people we work with. So I say good luck to all of my friends and those affected and I look forward to the opportunities that may lie ahead.

I know some of the guys affected at the Denver office, and other Colorado companies are trying to pick as many peps as possible from all the CO layoffs going on lately. Good luck to all affected, this blows.
