Finding good sound effects?

Hey guys , I was woundering if any of you could point me in the right direction for finding good sound effects? (without background noise)

I have made a transformer and I need a sound to represent the metal scraping across the concrete when it lands kind of like star scream in this video (26-29secs)

there you can make various sound effects, iam not sure if its possible to get the exact results you want, but its worth a try

The Free Sound Project is a great resource for sound effects if you dont have a problem with editing them a bit.

Maybe something like the last part of this?

Creating sound effects is like texturing. Its good to find recorded samples (or record your own) but you still need to mix, blend, and modify them to get your sound effect. Recorded samples are like photo sources in texturing, they are just resources used to get to the final result.
