I decided to go old school. I noticed a few people are taking a stab at this stage. After looking over what direction they are taking I realized I have some thinking to do.

Looks like it could have a lot of potential. I'd definitely try pulling something unique in to it. The whole contest is about taking a level and incorporating some sort of twist, perhaps far into the future, perhaps something else. At the moment it looks too close to the original (I'm assuming the second image is your concept).

no lol. Both images are refs i found on the interwebs. I was thinking of doing a steam-punk version of the stage. Distant future is kinda cliche nowadays.
