Shelby Daytona - WIP - Crits Needed!

Hello all!

I'm an aspiring 3D-artist, closing up on graduation day. Soon, I'll be starting to look for internships, and so, things need to be finalised and pimped for my portfolio.
I therefore kindly ask all you good people to have a look at my current pet project; a Shelby Daytona custom car. What you see in the attached image is a ref image, and the car mesh in Smooth Preview.

A few thing remain to be modeled - among them seats, rear wing, mirrors and (perhaps) some form of rudimentary cockpit. The current poly count is around 18.000. I reckon a finished car could have somewhere about 25 - 30.000 tris if needed.
Perhaps I'm in the wrong here, so anyone with any up-to-date numbers of in-game car poly count could perhaps be kind enough to correct me.
I would like to have this project as contemporary tech-wise as possible...

ANY critisism, no matter how vile, is more than welcome. And if you have any tips and tricks to share, they'd be more than welcome too!
