Thanks Mashru. Actually going to try to finish this one :-) I'll be working on designs through the weekend, just trying a bunch of different ones. Here are the first couple.
Ah, Mashru, apologies, I always get you and mohammed Moderes mixed up with your user names. Apologies my friend, and yeah, Maybe I'll switch the arm. Not sure yet. :-) Thanks for the ref.
Thanks for the kind words gents. Yep, I'm going to try to add some detail to the bionic arms. Really I want to nail a silhouette I like first. I did one more design, and then started blocking in something in 3d. I'll be doing draw-overs of that shortly. Thanks for the support gents.
Thank you! Here is a first pass @ some 3d. Still in the "design" phase though, so things will most likely change a lot still. The plan is to block in all the parts then try some more draw-overs before trying to final the high-res. C & C welcome.
i like the third concept Danny. the proportions on your sculpt seems a bit unbalanced but it might be a your own tase. personally i think something between your third concept and your sculpt would be great blend.
also, his face looks younger in your concept compared to your sculpt. most likely because of the chin pushed forward he looks like he is missing teeth and giving that old dude look.
Mashru, you are right on point as usual my man. Here is my latest. Once all the parts are represented, I'll mush him around a bit more and start to build the hard surface pieces in Maya and adjust proportions etc. My Goal for the weekend is to have the design part of the sculpting locked. Fingers Crossed...

glad to see you ended up joining the fun, im sure you'll do this fella justice. i really enjoy how you are so lenient with your designs, switching from one thing to another, really trying to push the overall concept. nice work

I will go with the first Idea.
Also, I'm trying to document what I'm doing, so here are two other videos from the sketches posted above.
