Hi polycounters,

I'm entering this challenge with a well known character, mai shiranui.
I'm actually trying to find ways to change drastically her overall look while keeping key features. Well, I admit it's something hard to achieve

By the way, I've done some early sketches to find interesting ideas.

Good choice.. Changing her drastically while keeping her Mai..is gonna be a fun challenge.=)
You know...she has certain...assets....that make her who she is=)

The astro boy Mai is a fantastic idea, I'd explore that further.

Since u r the first & only one to choose Mai, and since it takes so much courage to redesign one of the sweetest sexiest characters in the history of video games, I volunteered to gather some images that might be useful for the astro girl style (if u r gonna pick it).
I think that u should make it a really sexy cyborg, you might wanna make some parts of her body partially naked but with hi tech styles.

This last image is a google search page, if u look at the first image in the search you'll find a good idea for a sword fan weapon (as a new update for her original fan)
