No i'm not an animator. But whenever I'm alone I come up with lots of ideas, storylines, etc. You can say I watch an imaginary movie.

Nice poses, I agree with MM, the textures look too dark and saturated. It's hard to read the shapes and lighting in your latest images because the textures obscure much of what's going on.
I also see a lot of the low poly shading especially in the deltoids, maybe something is not working quite right in the shader? The first image in your latest post shows this issue the most.
love the colours and the high ech design one thing its the face whats up with that?
you make a very good thing but you could do a much much better mask and darky ,
the good work you made the deisgn of the maks will take you down points take for instance the mask the vega guy does if you put a better one i think you will win becuase i see you have better anatomy than him but i love the face wich have made the vega guy but he has problem too modeling cloth so you two guys are my favorites is a shame that i knew this contest late becuase im shure i will see you guys with me in the finals.
Something wrong with a textures my friend, all details that you sculpted are gone, i think white part overtightened, and another thing give some colors to shadows in AO, in real life shadows never pure black, give it some tint.

i can give you a tip try to make some eyebrow things like he is very bad ungry and dangerous like predators but more ungry that can be form the white part of the mas as if where a bone thats the actitud epoint you need if you make that will have more actitude and man you will got it , i LOVE THE COLOURS you made it blend perfectly i must say i can dream with it , is just lovely , so put him like more dangerous and evil with that and will be perfect and about the textures etc that some one says there try to add a little more contrast in photoshop and there you go .
for the high details you meaby loose open photoshop , open the normal map duplicate it and put as an overlay and make in that layer a gaussian blur of 0.5 then collapse the layers and if you got nvidia normal map use the filter and look for the option inside that says normalize , then if you want more extra detail use leveles and increase the red and green channels with the left and rigth slider to the center , do not touch the blue and there you go.

I think the orange is maybe too bright, it attracts the eye and makes us bypass all the cool shading going on elsewhere.
I would suggest having the orange unlit material darker (half the white power) and having some bits ramp up/gradient to the current orange color.
