Hi polycount.
Ok, here we go. For a long time i wanted to create some giant character, and this is the chanse, please welcome Potemking from Guilty Gear. Im not a fighting fan at all, but when i found this beast i had no doubts about what character i want to create.
I changed my initial idea to make vampire hunter, instead of it, i will make Potemkin in Warhammer 40K style.

But in theory, coffin its place to sleep for a vampire.
As i said before, Alucard is one of my reference character. He is a bounty hunter, he half vampire - half human, every night he need to sleep in his coffin, otherwise he will become weaker and than die.
Also as i mentioned before, i want to give him machine gun, but instead of bullets he will use aspen stakes, so in this case coffin could be used like a backpack for stakes chain )
P.S. Hmm it could be one of the fatality - to hit with a coffin, or to encage oponent in coffin and shoot it
So i started to think about possible designs again. His proportions, plus oroginal metal gear on him, like his chest plate and gauntlets... and then Warhammer 40k poped in my head.
Yes, thats right, i gonna creat Petemkin ultramarine version, im so excited, gonna be fun!
I spened a day today to sketch him in 3d.
As i said before, i decided to make Potemkin as a WH40k spacemarine, first i decided to go with a serious face and created all ultramarines symbols on him and to be serious in general.
But than i decided to make him more funny, in many fighting games developers put crazy, overpowered "Soviet" guys, like Zangief and Potemkin is not an exception.
Then idea just poped up in my head. I want to make him look like a USSR war machine.
Still a lot to do, i finally blocked out model in zbrush and started to make more clean version of meshes in max (like power pack on his back). There will be a lot of WH deco stuff combined with USSR symbols like featheres, decoration ribbons, ear of wheat etc..
P.S Mechanic arm is pretty scratchy, but i have got the idea, i will finish it in max.
What i need to say that in the end when i get in to the texturing, he won't look so plastic like with this matcap, it will be really worned rusted metal, will do my best to make it look cool.
Like, everything from the waist up is proportionate to each other, the legs I am just not feeling it there.
Finally finished hp for potemkin. Now jump to low poly. Hope to finish it until deadline...few days without proper sleep and it should be done.
Dont take in mind that shoulders intersect with arms, its just for baking, it will be fixed in pose.
