I'm finally starting to make a little progress on this. I'm trying my hand at poly modeling a lot of the character for the first time in a while. I don't have much more than this quick paintover of the face so far though

Excellent work Bunnies. The only crit I can think of, and this is just personal opinion, the boots are very square and don't quite fit with the upper body thats very round. You can either make the boots rounder or add some angular bits to the top.

So my original plan was to do a sweet Treble to go along with Bass. Seems I'm running out of polys and time though. I guess the extravagance will depend on if I can find more places to optimize later.

high poly looks great, silhouette is a really nice balance of mega man style exaggeration and real world proportions. can't wait to see this finished.

That treble is adorable. I would say it doesn't look quite mechanical enough to fit in with the universe, but it fits with the very ... fleshy version of bass you have.
