[STAGE] Super Smash bros, SECTOR Z, Jackrabbit

Hi everyone !
I'm a 3d student and it's my first account or even post in a 3d forum. I've been learning 3D for 8 month now, so i still have many things to learn and i'll enjoy any comments ! :) So I'll make the starfox stage in the old school SuperSmash, beacause i love retro-gaming. It's not gonna be a big stage, but i see this has a personnal challenge beacause i still have 20 hours of UDK tutorial to watch before going in it :p I seek to improve my Zbrush skills and try a full production pipeline. Here's the original Sector Z stage, i'll post my concept really soon! I'll probably mix the starship with the Ragnarok spaceship in FF8 and add some organic part.

Sorry if there's mistakes in my text I'm a French Canadian ... :poly124:

I think you should try to keep the same general shape as the original ship here, the shape from the head to the big fin just doesn't match. It will really help to give it the same general shape so people can recognize it and also to help control the direction of the art you want to go. Details will flow much better once you get the basics down.

    Keep it up!

Thanks for the advice ! I agree I told myself I've changed it too much ;) i'm currently trying to get a better curved shape that will fit to the original vessel. I've got many issues drawing robotics details and metalic surface, it's part of the challenge but i'll improve it ;)
