Maya 2011 - Help please.

I use maya 2011 to create stuff, and i was just wondering if any of you knew how to make dynamic grass (with wind etc.). I have a basic understanding of the software and can do some basic things. Or can anyone send me a link on how to create some, thats still rendered to look realistic.

You could try some "fur" presets and make it look like grass. There are dynamics for wind. But if what you are doing is for "in game," the option I noted has a high rendering expense depending on how much "grass" you need. You could try Paint Effects (grass brushes) and convert to polys, but the number of polys will likely be too high. You could mix "fur" grass with geometry grass. You could even try using cards with animated grass textures.
