personally I think a full mask is more "Vega"

if you want to show of his face maybe have him holding his mask in the final image

this is solid! love the sharp fingers on his claw hand though the forearm region feels unresolved at this point. i would definitely have this area solidified before modeling unless you are more comfortable modeling on the fly. overall i love the design!

My DW mini was compared to Skeletor for purple gamma and scull.
Anyway i started a hires - roughly sculpted body and some minor basemeshes for now . I will post some more understandable wips later) when i finish some of his clothes.

His legs look a little short to me when you compare it to his upper body. It might be more realistic that way, but I always think of Vega as being tall and slim so some more height might be good for him.

legs are a bit short and thin, could use a little scaleing. also, his hands are super tiny at the moment. as a design point, you may want to give his claw arm, some sort of elbow pad or detail on the back of the arm, its pretty blank at the moment, getting a little more detail there will probably help balance the detail on the arm out a bit. really love what you are doing with the lower-body design wise, very cool direction, might want to tie some personality details along that style into his claw arm to keep it tied together. looking good!waiting for more paints!

So i lost a week due to a system reinstallation and here'we are - almost done with basemesh and started sculpting. Still missing parts but i will add them later.

I think it looks great, but I'm not sure about the 美 kanji on his head. I mean, he's supposed to be from Spain, even with a redesign, having a kanji on the helmet seems a bit too much. In fact, now he has nothing that would remind anyone of him being Spanish.

But otherwise it looks really awesome.
