this is nice, i have one small suggestion you may consider if you like.
the yellow on the tires could be more pronounced and look more like painting with strong silhouette. almost like the blood on the hand, think of the yellow as some yellow toxic scorpion venom.
here is a crude example.
btw, do you have normal map on all the areas ? the sword handle look like just vertex normals.
Great/crisp work all around. The bar just went up a notch or two.
I say tone down the chains underneath the tires, maybe grime them down a bit so they don't stick out as much.
I am not understanding what is the other hand suppose to be? It looks cool but right now undefined to me, I know your still working on It, just saying if you've over looked It.

i thought that arm has the spear that he shoots out and grabs his opponent and he says "get over here".
Guys, this is the first stance, I'm thinking about adding a spear coming out of his hand. So, I have a little more modeling and sculpting to do. I hope it will be enough free space in UV to add some parts.
Then, there is a new turntable for you, my friends!
OMG, deadline soon! After I'll finish with shots will be more turntables.

When I thought about Scorpion remake first time I imagined splashes of bright yellow paint all over him. But then when I made a quick sketch blockout and paintover I understood that more soft, almost erased, paint will be better. In any case, thanks for the advice dude!
P.S. normal map is on the whole model. Such impression, probably, due to light or texture.
Echo.

Excellente!
Classical Scorpion throws a spear out of hand. My Scorpion's spear are begining to go mad, it came out of hand, wraps forearm and pierces the wrist...
I'm pumped to see it with the spear. Maybe this is weird to mention, but the only thing i wanted to suggest is about the background color. I know you're going for a post-apoc feel, but the heavy yellow in your composition feels like a little too much to me. I think your character would take more focus if you used a darker less yellow background color that fought less with the sorta similarly yellow-grey-heavy costume - Unless you're gonna do a base?
Usualy Scorpion's spear appears to be made of iron but alive and I can't combine these two images. So I developed the idea .. this will be an iron snake that holds a spearhead in the mouth. Thus, Scorpion can easily change the spearheads taking them in the hand, just before throwing.
I also added a shuriken. Now, I'm doing the second, more relaxed stance.
Funky Bunnies: Thanks for the hint, man! I'll play with color scheme during making the final shots.
Hey there, Alexander! I'm not a fan of obvious flattery, but this is downright awesome
My only complaint would be the pose. It doesn't look like a fighting stance because his right arm is somewhere far away instead of covering the torso. In fact to me it looks like he might be a bit off balance.
here an example of what I'm talking about. I think that if you move the right arm a bit more to cover the torso it would look much more natural.
Anyway splendid work man. Seriously, bloody awesome:)
Thank you guys for help with finding the right stance! But damn scene with skinned mesh crushed and I can't restore it (((. Unfortunately I do not have time and wish for another skinning, and a second stance I made with simple transpose in zbrush.
the metal buckles on the leather straps around his thighs seems to be missing and just noticed they are also missing on your turntable. small thing though. great entry anyways.

Looks fantastic though.

I really like marmoset toolbag, so all shots with low poly model are made in it.

Kickass, man. Definitely one of my favorites
whats this turntable thing? Its like magic in my browser . I don't even know what it is.
Anyways. super cool. A favorite MK char for me. Cool to see this take on him.
leg pads with knives are dope.

good luck!
What are you using to render with?
Crit: Agree with d1ver about stance. Its not very "powerful" atm and even though he has no iris' he doesn't seem to be looking at his target.
But i think you have to make more iconic pose like this
Not exactly like on image but with crossed arms, he should have more predator look.
Theres a jumping version of this move but I cant find reference. Maybe that could be even more dynamic.

thanks a lot Stepanchikov !
really a masterpiece in a world of cg characters
just a quick question what did you use to do the turntable? really good way to present stuff!!
