My plan for this is to give it an art deco update. I plan on changing the bridge to look more like the ones found on the Oregon coast and add a "modern" skyline instead of hyrule castle. I plan on making the whole thing look like it stepped out of a 1930's film.

Completely redid entire setup. Blocked out most of the level and started to detail it.

Sweet, I like the deco vibe. Are you going to change the terrain setup/layout for the background or mostly keep it similar to the original?

I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do with the background yet. Right now, I'm leaning toward a new background.

Latest update after a week of no updates. Not entirely sure on how to I want to make the buildings I want to use for the background. I don't know if I want to model them or paint them onto planes.

Nice, I like the direction you're going with it. Although the designs on the bridge definitely say 'art deco' to me, it might be difficult keeping that theme throughout the rest of the environment, especially one that's natural/ not manmade, which looks like what you're going for. Are you planning on applying the art deco aesthetic to objects in the background, too?

Yeah, I want to design an art deco city in the skyline, but right now I'm not sure how I'm going to tackle it.

Redid the bridge entirely and adjusted the "canyon" walls. I'm hoping this one sticks.
