Azuryon: Thnx, but i chose a different approach later on.
Well here is an update, decided to go for a warcraft undead design for Talim. Warcraft style made it a blit easier since it is so well established. Also I have never done something with warcraft style, so it will be fun to see how it goes.
Talim has chosen to become a rogue and put up some nice dps with her twin arm blades. (gonna design those later on)
I have to agree with it looking a bit flat from the profile few. Front and sides look good. I am liking the concept so far. Could we maybe see close-ups of the face too?
Buckster: Thnx mate!
kosh_fotsirk & Rick Stirling: yeah i agree that she is a bit flat. Will change it up a bit later on in the sculpt. The face is not that interesting at this point. Just did a quick 3d sketch of it. Gonna build a new one later on.

Did some face type examples, not sure which one to go for tho. I am thinking about the one without jaw.
I actually really like 2 (the no lower jaw thing). Talim has always seemed smaller, younger, appearing sort of meek in comparison to other characters. Smaller jaw is definitely the way to go, I think - no jaw at all, yeah for some reason that really works, too.
While number ? is by far the sexiest I'd say go with #2, I think it manages to retain the cutness of Talim while still being the most disfigured and undead-like of them all.
Thnx for the feedback everyone! I went for the one with no jaw. Thought it would be a fun experience sculpting and also it feels like something that is on the whole others side of the spectrum when it comes to Talims original design. I just hope she wont end up like a spitter from l4d2 ^^
Great start. Only thing that sticks out to me right now is the head feels a little on the small side. (Or maybe it's the size of her hands, that make it seem small in comparison?) It might not be technically too small if you want to get technical and all realistic about it, but I do think a little bigger noggin would suit her character and your design well. Though I suppose it would depend on how big that hat was going to be...
Yea her hands are a bit big, I think i am going to tweak them a bit. I haven't worked on the hands properly yet, just a block in so far. Thanks for the observation much appreciated.
That's awesome. Looks unnerving. The only thing is I feel that the overall shape when looking in side view seems a bit off. Maybe it's a bit to straight or it could be that the back is a bit flat.
Nice work Ziggy. I would love to see the skin more streched and not as "living" like, alltough you already sell the undead thing with the jaw XD
Keep it up.
dustinbrown: yea I totally agree with you and will make her less muscular.
Buckster: thnx mate! I will try to get in some more loose skin in there.
womball: ? will have to wait for another time, if there is a self portrait contest

JacqueChoi: Thank u, yea she is gonna be one bad-ass undead
I did some blocking in of the overall shapes in 3d. Might start with doing some high-poly stuff soon. Crits and comments are welcome.
Keep it up and looking forward to the next step. Sexeh<3
