Alright gonna try this one out! going for the capt of falcons havnt posted on here in forever. going for something like this im no concept artist but its a starting point.
finally got some free time not much of an update but its something in the direction of what i want. more fighter pilot/dieselpunk version of the capt. i know the proportions are off and it looks horrible but it wont transfer over the the modeling portion of it.
love the design I feel the bomber jacket should be just a bit shorter.
Ooo and nail those boots give em a falcon face with goggles!!! and give the heel of the boot a break mechinism that spits out sparks.
Oh right and lens flare in the final render.
lil blockout of what i kinda want the gauntlets to be any suggestions? i kinda wanna put a handle bar with a trigger in there for him to be able to hold on to and activate when he does his signature "Falcon punch!" I am also planning on something similar for the boots a sort of rocket propelled thing.
I dunno how attached you are to the design. but my feeling is that less is more.
So basically the idea is to cut down the detail and make sure you have a sweet looking falcon gauntlet that can easily be read from a distance as a falcon. Then put all that detail back in. Cause how you got it right now it feels too busy.
but this is just my opinion.

I agree, You are pushing detail over design.. at least as far as we can tell, sometimes less is more. Add detail when you get something you are happy with silhouette wise. But its coming along.. good progress so far!
ok trying to keep what you all said in mind close to getting this into zbrush just need to put in a few more lil things and ill get on it soo tired right now though.
That was odd it Said I was signed in as the Onomatopoeia. Strange btw need higher Res Image to really see whats going on but it looks good from a distance
small update added "FLUFF" to jacket and battle damage to shoulder pad. also started working on the gauntlet a little. stoopid job makes me tired and go to sleep early and talk like caveman.
I'm digging the folds in the clothing. but since you put that detail in the leather hat looks too clean. make it worn a bit.
The gauntlet is missing the rings at the base. also since you fleshed out the hand might as well go in there and make them fingernails. Keep Going and then you can start texturing.
yeah need to beat him up a bit more and the glove is a bit premature just a general idea of what i want it to look like but it will be all glove no flesh.
