Maph - the gears represent guilty "gear" sol badguy was the first gear to be made. i thought it would be cool to add that in the design, and the pasted on look is from rushing.

Solid start on the 3D, looking forward to see him finished! Glad to see somebody working on him, it's a great character and your take on him is very nice.
HAY, HAY man this is looking awesome. I really like your re-design. The sculpt is looking kick ass too, However I think the arms a little too short. Elbow to Bellybutton and Wrist to Groin. Other than that man wow, looking cool. I am looking forward to seeing the next update.

It's looking cool, man ! You really have some nice details on the head, etc. Although, I REALLY think you should revisit your main proportions before going any further on the gear. It may be really subjective at some point but I'd personally adjust the head, the torso and the arms length before doing anything else
