1st messy, messy pass:
Ivy is originally from a noble family in London, England... so I thought...whats the opposite of that? Punk:) Gave her Ivy tattoos and a studded belt that turns into the chain sword... more ideas to come
really dig your work. cool sketch bro! i think though that your character reminds me alot of a metal gear solid character... i dont know who.... ive never actually played the series. but i rememebr seeign a concept that looks alot like this.
to make her more punk maybe a leopard collar bomber jacket with patches and a mohawk?
Another thread I thought I commented in before. I love your concept, and I'm glad you're toning down the fan-service level. One thing, I think she needs a chelsea instead of the full-out skin head look.
Sculpt is moving along nicely; you'll be doing the cool parts before you know it.
I'd like to see a few variants for options for her hair. Maybe once you get the base mesh sculpted, try some paintovers to find the best option. Already glad it won't be a full-on skinhead look though.
wow that looks nice! looking forward to the characteristical stuff that makes her look like her. Arms are very muscular, it's on the brink of being bothersome, but i think you can pull it off like this. :P.
Yup, I aiming to make her tough as nails, yet still feminine. I haven't designed them yet, but Im planning a full set of "Ivy" tattoos running down her arms and up her neck. In the end it should balance out nicely, but if it doesn't...slimming the arms up will be super easy:)
This is coming along really nicely, great contrast of smoother vs. more detailed parts of the sculpt. Can't wait to see that belt, I think it'll make her very obviously recognizably Ivy.
Super clean, dig it. But she needs some oompf, she needs something about her that really sells her as a stylized character.
Take this fighter for example:
Slightly stylized proportions, Some wacky glasses and crazy hair. Doesn't take a full redesign, but just little hints that make her different and unique and make the other design desicions in her character stronger because of it.
Suggestions:
Crazier over-the-top hair in some way.
Bulk up her punk gear, give a specific interesting piece a larger size to give it focus.
Some kind of badass glove/bracelet/ weapon thing on one hand, this will help bring her back to the original character as well.
Hate to say it, but the original character's knockers (shape as well as size) added a lot of character. So much of that game's art style is in the boobs, not even joking.
All that said this is looking very legit and with a touch more style this could be a real contender! Keep it up!
good stuff enodmi, looking forward to more! I normally don't like clogs .. but the way you made them .. she so pulls them off! Nice detailing. Curious what you are going to do with the sword!
Thanks for the input guys! Crazyf, I totally agree...hopefully as I continue adding more details the character will emerge:)
small update: Gloves and rat tails...well, unfinished rat tails!
Hah, wasn't sure how I'd feel about this but its turning out awesome.
Maybe consider changing one of those sets of loops on her belt to handcuffs, 'cuz she seems like the kinda girl that'd use handcuffs for...extra-curricular activities.

Have not touched the pants and shirt yet, and legs are a tad wonky at the moment... and where is her head?
