I'm going to be doing this little joke character.
EDIT: Current Update at the top!
They aways get the short end of the stick, on so I think I'll turn it around and do him maybe in a bit of a Fist of the North Star style. Rugged and badass, much more appropriate for a fighting game.

Eager beaver did some preliminary sketching today to see where I'd take him. Biggest worry with the direction right now is that I don't want him to turn out looking like a generic muscle-y guy. Has to stand out from the crowd.
Off to bed now for me~
I'm not very good at visualizing what is in my head as an image so I think I'll leave the concept at this just and start modeling. I find it easier to play with ideas via modeling rather then drawing.
Did a preliminary block out and started sculpting his body a bit. I decided to go more of a robot with a human shape rather then being a human in a servbot costume.
A few pieces are highpolyed, the red ball is going to be a Reaverbot eye embedded in his chest. I didn't import the sculpt at it's highest subdivision level since it starts to make the scene slow down a bit.
The 'roll of quarters' lines are to remind me where to draw in like metal plate separation, kinda like Grey Fox.
Anyways, part two of him is done being blocked out. This is going to be his sidekick or whatever you want to call her. Role reversal.
Spent most of the last four hours focusing on his torso, trying to get the underlying muscles correct with Burne Hogarth and body builders as reference. Anatomy experts, tear me a new one!
Coming along steadily. I think I'll take a break from sculpting again and start working on highpoly in max for now.
Started one of his claws a bit so far. Mostly making it up as I go, based on some sketches. I think it needs to be larger.
Redid pretty much 70% of the muscle structure, worked on the highpoly some more. Mouth was giving me some trouble, so I put a for now. Feet are too small right now, I am thinking of running those cables in his arms up the length of his arms, feet area is entirely too small. Needs to be more like powerfeet. That yellow is kinda garrish too, tan might look better.
Brief update on Tron's highpoly.
Lots of people have been saying they just don't see the resemblance even when I explain it to them, so I am contemplating giving it a servbot shaped head with a face sculpted into it.
Worked on the legs mostly this weekend. Color scheme is tentative.
Next update should have the low poly textured.
also, I'd fix it so his chin isn't sticking out, looks odd.
