I'm thinking of making his skin at with the transparency consistent to Jello, but I'm not to sure yet due to the technical challenge. Anyone that can suggest tip for that, would be helpful.

so I'm not satisfied with the details I have been coming up with lately and been observing some of the techniques some have going on here, which I think are pretty awesome. For now Im just practicing on some details, but I'm not sure and was just thinking about reconcepting the idea. But here they are just for fun:

I really liked the sharp teeth in your color concept. Blankinator with the sharp teeth, I'd say.

thanks for you input onuris, your right about the teeth so I went ahead and made good use of them. I think I finally came up with some worthwhile.

Holy F ...definately one of best concepts I've seen in the constest so far! I much prefer your latest direction having the mouth and teeth prominent like in the original concepts, as opposed to the masked redesign ^^
