[FIGHTER] Street Fighter, Viper, Stertman
Hello all.
I will be doing Viper from streetfighter.
My idea right now is to give her a cyber punk look, maybe with her long hair being chunks of electric wires and stuff since she has all those electric powers in the game. Will look more into it after work..

I can almost see her with old school roller skates on. lol=) but dont think i will go that way.. =P

yeah the hair cords will be interesting to do. will have to bunch them up together alot to save polys.. cant be as airy as it is in the profile shot..
Mostly ruffing out the proportions and so. all the cables and stuff are just placeholders and are not placed the way they will be later.
so what do you think?

very well. had a few days off so tonight i have been doing a litle modeling again. not much but fleshed out some more basemeshes and given her shoes some polygon love.
shoes ready for zbrush but will wait for the whole character do be fleshed out first..
The hair cables are still very much place holders.. so dont worry about them =P

They make them thick and shapeless. You should consider other installation
Try something more delicate like pouting wire in place of seam seen in pictures below.

I myself have started to doubt the wires on her. worked better in my head and in the concept than it did in 3d. Im glad we have so long time until deadline! I will take your advice and start thinking about other solutions.

How did you end up doing the wire surface patterns in Modo?
The wires is made by beveling the verts so you get the diagonal squares. then just merged extruded and beveled..=)
slow going but here are some new wips..
about three weeks left so time to step it up=) zbrush next!
