I am modeling a semi-cartoony oil rig from a concept painting by
ZackF.
I've modeled it out and done a first pass on the texturing/shading. The light rig is temporary, I'm going to be playing with that a lot. I am deviating from the reference in some areas, and am staring to make a list of additional props to add in for set dressings. The final product will be a couple of camera moves with a skydome similar to the reference painting faded off to the horizon with some smoke emitting from the stacks.
I'm looking for any comments/critiques/suggestions you can come up with. On the model, shaders or textures.
