Just downloaded both the first games on steam and threw Complete on them. Downloading Call of Pripyat on steam now too, going to wait with complete until it gets past version 1.0. As many are reporting bugs. Still, awesome to see this

I can safely say that I will never, ever play STALKER, ever again.

It is one of the best and most immersive games I have ever played. But those invisible bloodsucker monsters are the scariest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. It is for that single reason that I will never play STALKER again.

I still got to play the first two. I do enjoy the games, but dear god, half the time I don't know what the hell I'm actually doing.

Nights are pitch black now, awesome! I remember playing the original Stalker with the complete mod, couldn't see a damn thing at night. Made my encounters with soldiers 100x more intense.

Liked ShoC a lot more than CoP though.. Clear sky is probably on first place together with ShoC and then CoP.. Will definitely reinstall and try again with Complete when I have the time. Would recommend anyone to try the S.T.A.L.K.E.R... Seriously intense.. :poly142:

Stalker is one of my favorite games, I really love it and its world, hardcore as it is and not so nub-friendly like most games these days are.

Is the Complete mod the one that just nicks Crysis's HLSL shader programs into Stalker or am I thinking of something else?

I played the first two vanilla and it was... a trying experience. Great games with not-so-great bugs.

I've had CoP lying around for a while but decided not to play it until Complete came out. If it's still buggy, maybe I'll wait just a touch longer (gotta finish DAII first anyways!)
