Anyone checked this out?
I just picked it up on the App Store, and... wow.
Now, I've been composing/recording music for about 12 years and I've messed with various software/hardware over the years but this is quite honestly mind-blowing.
I was so sceptical when Apple announced it, I thought it would be a bit tacky and more of a toy, but it's genuinely a very powerful app with a hell of a lot of potential. It's not even like it's just for playing with little ideas, or a musical sketchpad, you could really record some pretty impressive stuff.
If any of you iPad owners are even remotely musical, I highly recommend checking it out. And wave goodbye to an hour or five.
And for £2.99 too, I've paid four times that for music apps half as good.

EDIT: I read it uses accelerometer input to emulate pressure sensitivity, nice idea!
Yeah the accelerometer velocity/pressure sensitivity works surprisingly well, definitely a very clever idea.
