Hello all!
I have been wondering about this one for a while, but I simply don't have the required knowledge to achieve it on my own.
Wouldnt it be awesome to have a Photoshop action that would simply :
- save the current image document,
- to a user-defined folder (example : MyPictures or something similar),
- using the current "yyyy MM dd - hh mm" timestamp as a name.
This would be bound to a KB shortcut. It would enable artists to freely jam on ideas, while making the saving process very transparent, since simply hitting a key on the keyboard would take care of safely saving whatever is being worked on.
So far I have been using TimeStamp 1.1 to copy the current time to clipboard, and then pasting that as name in the Photoshop save as dialog.

It works, but it does break the creative flow a lot (compared to the freedom of simply grabbing a new piece of paper in real life)
Any ideas ?
