Isn´t it actually the other way around?
I always have to make sure the scale of my object is correct in mudbox otherwise the brushes go crazy like shit o.O
In zbrush when you zoom in and out of your mesh your brush stays the same size in the viewport. This makes it easy to have inconsistency when sculpting details if you zoom in/out at all.
In mudbox when you zoom in and out of your mesh your brush scales with the zoom so that it's the same size on the mesh no matter how zoomed in or out you are. This is happy times for sculpting details like seams.
I'm guessing by the single reply that it's just one of those differences, like mudboxes viewport handling. Bummer.
