Game reactor to reveal "Secret Game"

Hey!

Couldn't find this anywhere, so perhaps this is a local Swedish thing.

But, the game magazine Game Reactor is to reveal a secret game the 15th of march.

They have revealed some details about the game. So far these images:




I've been doing several attempts to Photoshop something out of these. And I have my ideas... But It would be fun to hear your thoughts.

Magazine has said that they're gonna reveal a long awaited follow up on a classic game.
So spare me of any games that already is in the loop...

I'm not sure,but seeing that it is the Swedish edition of this magazine, i think it might be Starbreezes Syndicate game.

Yeah, since it's been rumors that starbreeze new game currently entitled project "Redlime" is a remake of the classic syndicate... Most indicate that it might be it.

Since it's currently not announced but Starbreeze had said themselves that they will reveal the game soon.

I think "thats" the cover. Pixelated. The 2nd one is just the outline of the character of the cover. Overlap them too and you might figure out some more

Edit: Or, fill in the blanks! Let's draw some and have them spread, go viral crazy!

I think that pistol grip and the explosive shape on his chest is a dead giveaway it's Syndicate.

Don't see no coat though. Maybe those are being deleted like man hair has been deleted lately

From the looks of things, I'm gonna guess its a story of human resistance fighters, and they picked a nice generic white guy to tell the story of. MARKETING FUCK YE- awww.

I loved Prey! I think it's awesome they announced a 2nd one but...that character... doesn't excite me.

Perhaps Tommy from Prey wasn't the world's most creative character.
But at the very least, he wasn't entirely generic.

Prey is one of the few recent FPS's that I finished, that game kicked ass untill the end.

The redesign of the character has me worried the sequel will become a generic "makerting approved!" shooter. Let's hope not

So, Prey 2 is dropping the elements of portals and trying to make this a little bit like fallout with a hint of mass effect. To add a little more encouragement, this is what the Prey 2 wiki says: “We are thrilled to be working with Bethesda on Prey 2,” said Chris Rhinehart, project lead. “Prey 2 will provide gamers the opportunity to explore a new facet of the Prey universe, one that offers fast-paced action in an open, alien world . We’re excited to show gamers the title we have been working on and hope they will be as excited by this title as we are.”

I like the concept, i don't really care for the bar image. Any thoughts?

its almost like they were working on some random space game and at the last minute slapped a 'prey' sticker onto it. Looks cool I guess, but surely they could release *something* that referenced *anything* from the first game? apart from 'space stuff' obvs

I find those alien designs to be complete naff. Not impressed.

Hmmm, normally when people say "open world" I start to switch off. The game might be good, and all, but I tend to lose interest in open world stuff. It feels more like "here's a city. Fuck around till you get bored, and switch it off" I'd MUCH rather have a story, and a sense of urgency to get something done. If the game is linear, with an immersive story, then I'm happy. if it's open, with a bunch of random shit going on, that may or may not involve me in some way, then I don't care anymore. I'd rather do something else.

About the aliens, well... Not a fan of those designs either, but hopefully there will be different species that will be cooler. Like the guy at the end of the trailer.
