Well.. i've been looking forward to this game for a while. Since Back to the Future was a let down i was hoping this game would do justice to awesome story and entertaining point and click game. So far the story is captivating and even tho the art style looks dated, i am enjoying it. Lots of detail that brings the game to life, and good voice acting. I have not played the whole game yet. I looked for a thread of this game here, but i didn't find one. So i thought i would start one, since sharing good games is part of the industry.

It deffinetly reminds me of the thread of how we should be handling IPs. Where we start with something small, that we showcase, get feedback, and improve on it. Until we produce something that is awesome. Anyways. Anybody else played the game?

I was talking to someone yesterday moaning about the lack of detective games and how i wanted to make a good old point and click game with a fantasy detective setting haha.

Saying that, im sure i remeber seeing screenshots from this a while ago and it looks really interesting and i'll have a gander up on that space for sure!

I bookmarked the sales page after I watched a youtube video for this a good while back. Its got that beneath a steal sky style that has me totally sold. Thanks for the demo heads up!

Preordered it and finished it the other day (I was playing it straight through, it had me hooked). Great game, although does get a bit pixel hunty after awhile and some of the voice acting is eh. I'm usually put off by a lot of point and click adventure games but the theme and detective gameplay kept me interested and it really paid off.

If anyone needs help in certain parts, check out http://www.gamezebo.com/download-games/gemini-rue/walkthrough (SPOILERS! Doesn't give away story, but locations and such. Recommend only reading the part you need help on and not ahead).

picked it up the other day. :) only played a bit so far, but loving it! (really liked their almost-homage Blade Runner esque music when walking around the city.)

Played the demo and loved it! How long is the full game? How does it compare to other games?

DOTT and Beneath a Steel Sky are two of my favorite games ever - does this stack up? I really loved the demo, and so far it's looking pretty cool.

I can't say how it is compared to others, as I haven't played many of this genre, but the length is around 6 to 7 hours or so. Depends on how well you can figure out the puzzles really.

Also, don't read the PCGamer Review if you do, they give it a good score, but spoil a huge part of it.

I love DOTT, and i have never played Beneath a Steel Sky. I should give that one a try. Any lucasarts game back in the day was awesome. This one seems to trend a long the same lines. Just more serious and to me at least, seemed like a good story from the demo. Enough to get me excited to buy the game and play it. Plus i love the art style.
