zbrush 4 polypaint layering problem

I am in need of your wisdom. I've got a subtool with polypainting on a layer. When I turn off recording on layer, go to create a new layer, or even bake layer the subtool loses all the polypainting. I then just get the default material color. Do you know what going on?

I have the same problem man, but for me it just messes up all the polypainting and the uv.... all the patterns mix up and it makes something unusable.

Sadly, it does the same thing if I make a UV with my polypaint so I can't do s**t with that....
