What should i start with as a new guy?

Hello polycount forum :), let me introduce my self. I am Robert Oortwijn, 16 years old from Holland. I would like to ask something.

I want to develop games on day, but even while i am so young i always want to do something, sadly i am restricted to my skills. Better said i have no skills at all.

I would like to start small and work up. A direction i would like is Concept Art, only thing is i don't have a tablet, and most them are really expensive :(. I am moderate in hand drawing but without a print machine i am unable to scan them and put them on my PC after it got broken. So i wanted to know if you know something i could do, that is simple, fun, and giving me the feeling of doing something good :).

Thanks!, hope to see your comments :D.

If you have a good digital camera and good lighting you might at least be able to post your work for comments. Otherwise, you could go to a printing shop and have them scan them for you. The best solution would be to just hit Ebay for a used tablet. I recommend a WACOM tablet. I have an Intuos 3 6x8 that I really like.

Yeah, you can get an old Wacom Graphire for $50 USD, which isn't so steep. I mean, it's used, but it's certainly better than nothing!
Or even a new Bamboo for $57 USD, which is really a good tablet:

If that isn't possible, then I would suggest, perhaps, downloading a 3D program like blender to learn. It's free, and it will feel good getting to know how 3D works. I don't use blender, but so many people swear by it, so it must be good.
All I can do is wish you the best of luck- whatever you do, don't stop practicing art. Drawing on paper is better than not drawing, of course.
    So, yes, good luck.
