Rendering the Hidden Line Wireframe

Hi, I heard that wireframe is very important to present your modeling skill~
But I feel that the see-through wireframe is not very effectively to present a model which have many polygons~
So I found out that Hidden Line is very nice and clear to present my model~
It display my wireframe very well and hide the back side wireframe~
But it only can preview on the viewport, I must print-screen it and paste to Photoshop to edit it~
What I want is to render the Hidden Line so that I can save to PNG format with alpha~
How can I do that? Appreciated~

    What program?

I like using the mental ray contour rendering feature. Should be able to set it up easily in any program that uses mental ray(maya, max, xsi). I've used maya's vector renderer in the past as well.

3dsmax, copy your mesh, apply a standard material, check on wire, apply a push modifier and nudge it out a bit.

Or use a quality viewport shader like 3point, or xholio's (however you spell his name) and turn on edged faces in the viewport. Or just take low quality screen grab with the diffuse turned off and turn on edged faces.
