Comet Post Deformer increasing calculation time

Hi.

I just started using the Pose Deformer Comet script today to start making some corrective blends. I'm a modeller and not a very experienced rigger, so maybe I'm missing something obvious here.

My problem is that after making a few blends, the calculating time for creating a new pose seems to increase, exponentially. The first few poses don't take too long to solve, but as I'm trying to make my fifth or sixth or so, it takes forever. I don't know if something's stacking up or whats going on, but when I start working on a different mesh (same character, different part), it calculates fast again, until I've created four or fiwe blendshapes, then it starts stacking up again.

This is terribly frustrating and I'd by extremely grateful to anyone who happens to have an idea as how to solve this.

Im using Maya 2011 and the latest version of the script.
