Just some low poly fun to kill a few days before Dom War is starting (fingers crossed). 1'624 tri's with a 512 diffuse texture. Wanted to go overboard with the proportions whilst keeping the texture quite simple.
I'm loving the proportions - any work you were inspired by?
I pretty much just spent my time playing with silhouettes in Photoshop until I found one I liked. Originally I was going to make an over the top knight but then the idea of taking a character who relies on his arms and pushing those proportions seemed to make more sense.
I love that! simple , but so well done, how did you do the post process black line cartoon style ?
There is a setting in Marmoset toolbag which allows you to put an outline on a model. This is only on the newer versions of toolbag though.
Done a little more on the texture for this guy. Going to call it a day now. One of the guys at works gonna have a crack at animating him so hopefully I can post this as some point.

awesome much?
Love the arm hair. Great colors and proportions.
Nicely done sir!
And for the amount of tri used, really well done.
Clean, simple, recognizable and everything works together well = win.
