~ lol. I'm still laughing at the fact they built a Gundam and then took it down and denied its existence after the lawsuits came in. Even though we had photos.
Copyright infringement aside, a Warcraft theme park sounds like a awesome idea. Why was China the first to actually start building it?
Oh it's not just warcraft, theres actually 5 different franchises including starcraft too!
Pff that actually ruins it, Warcraft is big enough to have a theme park of it's own and would be much more awesome if the whole theme park stayed within that theme. Gogo Blizzard make it happen
the funny thing is, there's a copyright law in China... but it goes like this "just swap a letter around or change a color from the original and you're safe" There's all kinds of weird knockoffs all out in the public which are total ripoffs of western brands.
My favorite is the Chinese Lacoste store which features the same crocodile logo and products but has a different name, which translates to, well, "crocodile"... well then there's also fake KFCs, fake McDonalds, some car type that looks like a hacked together Mercedes, a store that looks pretty much like Nike (Erke), a store which uses a mirrored Apple logo as logo, and even more ripoffs which don't even bother changing anything about the brand they copy. It's amusingly bizarre though.
As strange as China (and Japan, and North Korea, and South Korea) may seem at times, I can only imagine the western world looks just as strange from the other side. For some reason I'm really thrilled to live in a world where everyone thinks everyone else is crazy.

yea i remembered that too .
but finally they changed it to something more original. well much ugly of course. because lack of creative effort ...
however japanese artists always appreciate anything that original.
and willing to spare time to make fanart out of it
