While I have no clue wtf the OP was talking about in his initial post... he has been a member since 2005, which makes him somewhat of a PC Vet.
Looking back at some of his older posts, the dudes got some skillz too so there must be more to this thread than a lot (all) of us have realised.

doesn't mean they're not a plonker. If they were/are serious about their point perhaps its worth taking the time to actually make it cogent or at least clear.
Maybe some of the PC OG's feel they need to behave in such a way so they fit in with the new skool.

I had no clue this thread would cause so much hostility towards me, I was really just stopping by to say Hi and see who is still around. And yes I am an old school PCer, and have been making video games since before some of you where born. I'm not the best Artists in the world, but I am an artist and I thought this was an art forum. An art forum that I have called home for many years.

I hear it used to be, now it's just a political discussion board for anything you wanna talk about. As long as it's not art. Lolcats and memes are encouraged.
Man, I've only been here since mid '09 but even I miss the 'good old days'.
Disclaimer: There's still plenty of awesome stuff in P&P, primarily the What are you Working on' thread. Also, I'm more than guilty of posting a topic or two that should never have been posted, and have behaved like an ass on a number of occasions.

personally I don't mind the recent slew of non-art/industry threads in GD, just so long as it stays out of PnP or Tech Talk.
