Help and Feedback for M240 LMG :)

Hi all, new to Polycount so be gentle :P

I'm making a M240 light machine gun as part of my games design course, and I`d really appreciate any help or feedback anyone could offer :)

I'm having trouble working out how to texture it properly, I've laid down base colours and shadowing in photoshop, but I dont have a clue where I go from here. I'm still pretty new to texturing, as you can probably tell :P

Anyway I`d really appreciate any help, I can also upload wires and the UV of the gun too :)
