Captain America teaser.

The first look at Captain America in motion popped up during that silly space marine rugby game they just held over in the US.

Coupled with the images that have been released recently, I'm on the cusp of beginning to look forward to this one. I know therein lies a path to madness and potential disappointment, but indications at this stage seem like it might at least be on par with the pretty decent first Ironman movie.

The Wolverine Origins movie was so terrible I stopped watching any of the marvel comic films. Took me a while to get over that feeling but last week Spiderman 3 was on TV so I thought I would give it a go. Now I never want to see another film ever again. I await this tentatively.

They've apparently got Darren Aronofsky, of all people, in the process of retconning that particular travesty. Lord only knows what that'll turn out like, but you can be sure it'll be interesting.

X-men and Spidermna were made by fox, who like to fuck shit up. All the other marvel movies are actually made by marvel productions and are a lot better, still just popcorn movies but pretty enjoyable.

I thought it was on par with Thor, not bad, but not great. I really wish they had spent less time on his early years and proving how much 'heart' he has. It was good, but then they just jump into a montage of his captain days, and really don't show much of it. I really wish they had spent more time on that. It would have added more action to the film, and kept the energy up.

There was a good mix on comedy in there though, and I liked all the people they chose for the roles. I'm looking forward to a second one (well, the Avengers first)... I just felt like this spent too much time on how he became Captain America.

Well, it is his debut film. :P

I saw it this morning and thought it was fucking awesome. One slight nitpick would be that the action sequences were the more boring parts of the movie. Actually seeing the character develop was great.

Best movie I've seen this year, so far.

So was the first Ironman :P And I LOVED that movie.

Basically, like you mentioned, I thought the action part was boring. For me, I thought it was because they didn't have enough time to expand on it (because they spent too much time on his awkward stage).

I asked my family what they though yesterday, because when we left the theater, everyone was silent. My kids loved it. I guess they just didn't want to say much at the time My wife liked it, but thought Thor was better.

I thought the first half was incredible, didn't expect Chris Evans to pull it off. Middle parts were good too, I didn't expect them to go overboard with the action because he's still bound by the limits of a human body.
