Hey all... finally posting this in my own thread.. I had to create a character for my school's workshop and composite him into a photograph.. we had the choice of whatever medium we wanted, but we had to design a composition and character design, so I chose to create a giant ogre scaling a skyscraper.. I'll post the cityscape when I have more progress.. cheers.... comments, crits.. always welcome...
haha... awesome sculpt jmiles. I do have a crit though... I think one of those dicks needs its own slightly smaller dick. Reminds me of a middle school quote I overheard when I was that age... "my dick is so big its got it's own dick and THAT dick is bigger than your dick".
after staring at his crotch for over fifty minutes straight, you can imagine my disappointment when I discovered neither his fingers, nor ears, were dicks.
The dicks should detach and recombine into a giant dick-sword or weapon! Kidding aside, they do look glued on. In the sketch they look like they're a natural extension of the ogre's body. Other than that this looks awesome.
as mentioned, the dicks look glued on and don't quite blend naturally from the rest of his body.
also his toes seem like they would make it very hard to balance such a vast quantity of penii; the "big" toe is on the outside, and the little toe on the inside, would seem to me more natural to have them reversed.
I dig the sketches of the heads/faces and even the king-kong-esque doodles...
There's so many things you can do with dicks though... this just seems forced. If I were to provide any critiques i'd say there's some inconsistencies between your drawrings and the 3Dick model... in that the sketch shows the monster with 4 dicks... and your character model has 5... the sketch, they are all roughly the same size. In the model they're all over the place... and all over the place. I was wondering what the inspiration was for making these changes... ?

@ nfrrtycmplx-- the original design was to have 4..the only reason I added another was to make it asymmetrical.. as prompted by my classmates.. the more the merrier eh? :P
yeah and I realize that they look like strap-ons at this point.. need to figure out how to make them blend better because they're two different subtools..
gonna do one more thing before I retopo and texture.. gonna add a metal plate over his belly and have it hang from hooks driven into his back.. you'll see..
@ whats_true-- heh.. yeah man.. actually.. earlier I had given him Prince Albert piercings down the center one-- layered them down like scale mail ;P .. I took them off and put one underneath on the backside of it...
The kneecaps need some work. They're positioned too high and should be set in the flab of the leg.
The fact that his largest toes are on the outside is a little peculiar too, though could be put down to a design choice.
His butt seems kinda toned compared to the rest of his body. His rack of wangs seem like the should be set a bit further under his belly too.
@ Jackablade-- yeah that was completely a design choice.. I know that big toes would normally be placed on the inside of the foot, but more or less if you could picture the foot a bit more like the mit of a hand, where his big toe is more like an index finger, and the other toes are on the outside; he also has a "thumb" toe as well.. my intent is to have him scale tall buildings.. so I'm thinking more in terms of monkey feet.. but I'll play with the shape and the logic of the anatomy too..
I worked out the kneecaps last night.. I'm playing with the idea that the flab of the quadriceps might hang over the knee a little bit-- does that feel right to you guys?.. also.. I will add more surface texture to the butt and legs.. it got lost a bit as I was sculpting the forms out...
if you were to trim the fat of this topic, the thread would fit on one page pretty nicely.

You know, if your dicks are going to be seperate from the rest of the body, then it's safe to say that you don't really need to make it symetrical... if you resurface the thing with the dicks attached though, you could very easily reproject the body onto the new low mesh (subdivided of course, and then smooth out the seames...)
otherwise, you don't need to worry about it... pesonally, 5 dicks is a bit much for me. But hey... different strokes for different folks right?

edit : thats what happens if you sculpt dicks. your whole model will be reduced to the nether region

Try adding pubic hair. It would cover the seams easyer then trying to blend it. Also, trying giving one of the phalicals a ring.
