Why Pixilogic, why?

zbrush corrupted my file....hours down the drain. I hear the file is unrecoverable. I will cut myself.

any tips so this wont happen again besides creatinga new file every time I save?

get the zbrush plugin quicksave - this way you'll be saving a new version each time you hit the button - it still works in z4 even though I think it hasn't been updated in a while

Both of the posts have valid solutions, yea I am pointing out the obvious, good luck I had this happen to me once, was the worst day for me.

I learned long ago the very same way. Never save a ztl twice on the same file.

At least now you will know to always save incrementally

does zbrush not have a quick way to increment the version number like maya, 3ds or blender

I'm going to download that quicksave plugin, pretty sure that is the best option right now passerby.
