Hey guys,
We're looking for people to create low-poly specific gun models for use in realtime applications.
Basic Requirements
1. All weapons must be UVd onto a single map with no overlap.
2. Final Texture size will be 1024x1024 but all assets are to be provided as 2048x2048 or better.
3. All textures provided must be square.
Maximum Poly Count
The maximum poly count is dependent on how many attachments the weapon will support. The maximum triangle count on screen will ideally not exceed 10,000.
Attachments
Attachments should not exceed 1000 triangles.
Textures for attachments should be provided as 1024x1024 or better. Textures must be square.
Attachments must be UVd without overlap with baking in mind.
Materials & UVs
All maps must be supplied as layered photoshop files. Any ambient occlusion passes should not be flattened into the original Diffuse layer. This is to allow final baking in to various lighting enviroments.
UVs must not overlap. UVs should be contiguous wherever possible. UVs should allow relatively simple customisation of the weapon texture (for adding labels, additional detail, etc).
Specific Gun model provided, along with wiki link. All reference beyond that must be self-researched and above all, accurate. More specifics on requirements for models provided upon application.
For those able to create usable models, this will be ongoing work for the foreseeable future. Many weapon models will be required so we'd ideally like a few people at all times working on models.
